I am so excited for you! The Holiday Inn is great--it's fun going up to the restaurant and just looking out the window to see what is around the area. Kara is actually from Huangshan. She was the first child adopted from her SWI, and as far as I know, there has only been one other child who has been internationally adopted. One more interesting tidbit about the Holiday Inn: you have to put your card-key in a slot by the door to turn on the electricity in your room! No one ever told us about that, and it took us a little bit to figure out why nothing worked! ;)

Oh I wish I could go with you! I'll be praying for you, though, every step of the way. And, just like another time not so long ago, I will be crying tears of joy when I see you two together. It's been a long road, my dear friend...thank you for letting me come along for the ride.

Love you,
Monica
