Acer Playing Along

Acer got the Steel Drum from YeYe and NaiNai for his big Birthday/Christmas present, and the piano from my friend and Mandarin Professor, Qin.  Here he's putting them both to use at the same time, even if he only has one drumstick to pass between both hands (more on their way thanks to Uncle Dawei)  Sorry, I shot the video this way, I didn't realize that you couldn't turn it like you do photos.

Wow, I know Amy too. Thank you for your e-mail regarding adopting a child with vision impairments. We did not accept the referral, not because of the eye issue, but because of age. We are hoping to adopt a child who is under 4 as our youngest is 4. The little girl we were considering was 5. Our agency mistakenly thought she was four. So, we are back to waiting and really struggling with it all. But God is good.

We call the grandparents Yeye and Nainai too :)

I love reading your blog--I have focused so much this past year on Desta that I've nearly forgotten the whole other part of our family. Yikes!
